Who We Are
Donkey Club Skiathos is a non-profit sanctuary located on the northern side of Skiathos, near the beautiful beach of Big Aselinos.
We have recently taken a massive leap forward. To give our herd the life they truly deserve, we relocated the sanctuary from the edge of town to a beautiful, expansive new facility near Aselinos Beach.
Here, surrounded by natural shade, fresh sea breezes, and open space, our donkeys have room to roam, socialize, and heal. This move has been an incredible labor of love, brought to life through Panagiotis, alongside the countless, exhausting hours of hard work poured in by them and our amazing community of volunteers. Together, we have cleared land, moved animals, and built a foundation from scratch—but we need your help to cross the finish line.
Here, donkeys are not used, exploited, or displayed — they are given the time, space, and care they need to live peacefully and with dignity.

The Heart Behind
the Sanctuary
Panagiotis is the founder Donkey Club Skiathos. In 2025 he partnered up with Martin to create the dream team that we know today.
With deep respect for animals and years of hands-on care, he has dedicated his life to protecting donkeys and ensuring they are treated with the dignity they deserve.
What started as an act of compassion has grown into a safe haven built on responsibility, love, and daily commitment.
